RoJoBats

great handmade bats

Bat Models 60, 110 & 141

These 3 models are no longer available, are especially good for the player new to using wood, or the singles hitter who wishes more hitting area to work with.

These have a tendency to be a little more difficult to break because of the gradual taper to the barrel. These models are almost always a minus 2 or 3 to the length.

*Model 60 has a long handle (15/16") to a large barrel (2 1/2")

*Model 110 has a long thin handle (7/8") to a medium size barrel (2 3/8") for better bat control.

*Model 141 is very similar to the 110  except it has a more drastic taper to the barrel making it a little more waited towards the barrel.

Models 243 & 2000

These 2 bats are only available by special order in birch wood 32", 33" and 34", designed for the power hitter.  They have the thin longer handle with the more drastic taper to the bigger barrel. Can be ordered with the cupped end or without it.

The dimensions make these bats more balanced towards the end of the bat.  When someone gets one of these bats moving, it will almost finish swinging itself.

The one thing about these models is they may break a little easier if hit incorrectly because of all the weight at the end.

*Model 243 has a thin long handle (less than 7/8")with a drastic taper to the barrel (at least 2 1/2")

*Model 2000 is the same but has a bigger barrel (2 5/8") so it may be a tiny bit heavier

models 65 & 83

These 2 models are the same but with a different knob.

They have a medium size handle with a more dramatic taper to a big barrel, and are a little heavier but are counter weighted by the bigger knobs.

These bats will usually be between even - (- )2. These bats are more for the experienced hitter with a little pop in his stroke.

*The 65 has a less than 1" handle to a big barrel (2 1/2"+) with a bigger (2") bell type knob.

*The 83 is the same as the 65 with a larger (3") Bonds type knob

Model 271

This bat is in between the 243, 2000 model and the 110,141,60 models.

There is not as dramatic taper as the bigger bats but more than the straighter taper models.

Balance is more so in the middle than those other bats, and is said to be the most popular model used by the pros.

This model will work for any type of hitter, and is as expected in between the other model for tendency to break.

This will come in a minus 2-3 to length with the handle and barrel varying in dimensions depending on the maker.
